Lilly Pilly facilitates changeovers to enable the child to be transferred from one parent to the other at contact times without the parents meeting. Lilly Pilly aims to avoid unnecessary conflict and stress for children and their parents. Parents are not required to come into physical contact with each other, and the children are protected from witnessing arguments between their parents or loved ones.
Please be aware that while Lilly Pilly seeks to assist, it is not our role to negotiate between the parties and we ask that the initial arrangements regarding the visitation/transportation be developed and agreed upon and then provided to Lilly Pilly. Any ongoing changes to those arrangements should be managed in the same way.
PROCEDURE FOR ORGANISING CHANGEOVERS WITH LILLY PILLY
1. Lilly Pilly is approached by a family or their legal representatives regarding changeovers of the children/young people.
2. Intake forms are downloaded from the website and completed, requiring signing by the parties prior to being returned to Lilly Pilly.
3. Costing is agreed as per Lilly Pilly pricelist. Payment can be made via EFT or cash on the day.
4. Changeovers take place at the agreed time.
PROCEDURE FOR CHANGEOVERS
Drop off .
1. The parent for contact arrives at centre atleast 15 minutes before child/children are to be delivered.
2. The primary carer arrives with child/ren at centre at correct agreed time, NOT before or after..
3. The primary carer drops child/ren off to Lilly Pilly staff and leaves immediately.
4. Lilly Pilly staff take children to parent for contact and parent for contact leaves 15 minutes after primary carer leaves.
5. Contact time takes place ……
